Northern Cement

Northern Portland cement product manufactured according to the highest Jordanian and European standards. You can find it at Al-Moasron Iron and Cement Company.

Ordinary Portland cement (CEM I 52.5N)

It conforms to the Jordanian standard and the European standard and meets the American standard.

Advantages:

Has the highest tensile strength
Good early and final strength
Improving the need for water use, reducing the risk of granular separation, achieving flexibility for the mixture when using casting

Uses

Used for concrete, mortar, plaster, and plaster
Used in precast concrete industries that bear high compressive strength such as blocks
Used in making ready mixes.

Portland pozzolani cement (CEM II B-P 42.5 N)

It conforms to the Jordanian standard and the European standard and meets the American standard.

Advantages:

Improving workability with less vibration when pouring, which leads to stronger bonding of concrete and improving the characteristics of the concrete mixture in terms of shape and finishing.
Reducing the permeability of concrete, as the concrete made from it is considered more dense and compact due to the interaction of pozzolana with hydrated lime resulting from the hydration of cement after spraying the concrete with water, forming compounds that fill the capillary channels with concrete, which increases the strength of the cohesion of the particles and thus reduces the permeability that increases the building’s resistance to the penetration of salts and acids.
Increasing the strength of concrete application in the long term, so that it makes the cement paste plastic and flexible to improve the properties of cohesion and increase the durability of concrete and its life span, and this is shown by its effect on the increase in the final strength of concrete with time.
Resistance to atmospheric erosion over time, as evidenced by the historical archaeological facilities containing these pozzolanic volcanic rocks.

Uses

Used in construction and concrete industries as a substitute for ordinary Portland cement
Used in the manufacture of chimneys and refractory furnaces
Used in marine structures and ready mix concrete
Environmentally friendly: Adding it to clinker reduces carbon dioxide emissions resulting from the burning of clinker production.
